I founded Dnyansadhana Pratishthan in 2002 to do something different in education. Until then, schools looked only at a student's academic progress, and so they produced examinees rather than educated people. I saw the serious effects of this myself. So I resolved to look beyond marks to each student's physical, emotional and social development. It took a great deal of hard work and many experiments, and out of them the journey of Dnyansadhana Pratishthan unfolded. Watered by effort and perseverance, the sapling of Dnyansadhana has today become a banyan tree.
What sets Dnyansadhana apart is this: at admission we test students in Mathematics, English, Science and Reasoning. Whether a student scores 0 out of 50 or 50 out of 50, we admit both. We then study each student's ability and knowledge psychologically, create the supportive environment they need, and guide them. That is why our bright students reach the peak of success, and students who had fallen behind also gain confidence and do well.
Alongside studies, competitions in elocution, essay writing and poetry recitation, and in cricket, kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball and more, run all year so that every student develops fully. In recent years our students have shone in sports at national, state and divisional level.
In short, Dnyansadhana Pratishthan has worked tirelessly, in new and experimental ways, for the all-round development of its students, and will keep doing so. That is our goal. One more step towards it has been our move to digital learning. As we like to say, ‘ज्याला जे येत नाही त्याला शिकवते ती शाळा म्हणजे ज्ञानसाधना प्रतिष्ठान!’ For Class 11 and 12 we arrange separate lectures for NEET and JEE.
To bring professional education to science students on our own campus, we began pharmacy education in 2016, and in 2018 established the Dnyansadhana College of Pharmacy. Pharmacy has grown immensely, with opportunities in clinical research, pharmacovigilance, nanotechnology, drug discovery, molecular biology, phytochemistry and more. Our aim is to build professional skill together with personality and communication, supported by well-equipped laboratories and good infrastructure.
Dnyansadhana Pratishthan never stays behind in education. We give students a modern education using new technology, and the student is the centre of everything we do. We are achieving this through the cooperation of alert parents, hard-working students, teachers and staff. All we ask now is the trust and firm support of you, the parents.
